Membership in the PCDO is open to all registered Democratic voters.

To have voting privileges within the organization, you must be registered to vote in Princeton. Neighbors may join as affiliate members, who are welcome to attend forums, take part in activities and join committees.

The PCDO has regular monthly meetings featuring a variety of speakers on local and national issues. We have several ad hoc committees that focus on issues, including global warming, health care and local issues. We endorse candidates at all levels and host candidate forums before each election. Through our email list, we notify members of upcoming political events and volunteer opportunities.

As much as we welcome and encourage participation, we also welcome members who are too busy to take an active role, but who enjoy politics and government. Membership carries no obligation to participate – many people join just to be kept in the loop on Democratic events and news.
