The Executive Board of the Princeton Democratic
Organization oversees all the operations of the club. Every Democratic
elected official residing in Princeton Borough or Princeton Township as
well as the Municipal Chairs of both municipalities, are members of the
Executive Board. Each year, the members of the PCDO elect officers
who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club.

President
Jenny Crumiller
Jenny Crumiller has served the PCDO as Corresponding
Secretary, Membership Chair, organizing the Democratic Headquarters in 2004,
and for the past two years, as President. She hopes to continue working
to provide an open, welcoming structure that facilitates action and involvement
for members of the Democratic Party, both locally and nationally.
Vice President, Township
Jim Floyd
Jim Floyd has been actively involved in Princeton Democratic
politics since 1946. He is a retired vice president of the Educational
Testing Service as well as a retired vice president from the Electric (Exide)
Storage Battery Company. In addition to serving on several boards and
commissions, he served as the first Democratic mayor of Princeton
Township. He is dedicated to working for a more inclusive Princeton.
Vice President, Boro
Peter Wolanin
Peter M. Wolanin, Ph.D has been an at-large member of the
PCDO Executive Board for the last three years. He was very active in the
2004 campaign. Peter manages the PCDO website along with Jenny Crumiller.
He hopes to take on additional leadership responsibilities as well as to
increase the membership and improve technical capabilities for tracking
memberships, communicating with PCDO members and accepting membership payments
on line.
Treasurer
David Cohen
David Cohen has been serving as treasurer since being
appointed to fill a vacancy last June. He is a self-employed architect
with a focus on environmentally friendly design. He was active in the PCDO's
efforts during the 2004 election cycle, and is a regular participant in the
Princeton Democrats book club. He would like to bring his interest in green
design and development to the executive committee and look for ways to advance
these priorities through political advocacy on a local level and beyond.
Assistant Treasurer
Ginger Lennon
Ginger Lennon is a member of the County Committee, has
served as Chairman for the Township twice, and has worked on many
campaigns. She is a realtor and has contributed her expertise in
assisting many registration drives. She holds a bachelor's degree in
mathematics and served as Treasurer for a state senate campaign. She would like
to help the PCDO to fulfill its destiny as both a forum for ideas and a force
to continue winning elections.
Recording Secretary
Peter Lindenfeld
Peter Lindenfeld was a faculty member of the Rutgers Physics
Department for 46 years. He is now writing an introductory physics textbook. He
is a founding member of the PCDO and was Treasurer in its early days. He hopes
to continue on the Identity and Message Committee, and to help the resurgent
Democratic Party in any way he can to reach its ideals, as described in the
Committee's "Message".
Corresponding Secretary
Kevin Wilkes
Kevin Wilkes is an architect and the founding principal of Princeton
Design Guild, a Princeton area design build collaborative. He volunteers his
time as a member of SPRAB, a project coordinator for the Princeton Parks
Alliance and a Director of Princeton Future. He collaborated with many
talented community members to create Writers Block 2004 and Quark Park 2006. He
is fluent in English and Spanish and has an English bulldog named Tara.
Township At-Large
Toshi Abe
Toshi Abe is a retired Research Scientist with the NJ State
Depaftment of Health and Senior Services. He is co-chair of the PCDO Healthcare
Policy Committee. He also serves as Executive VP of his union, CWA Local 1034,
and is president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens
League. He is interested in civil rights issues and single-payer healthcare
policy.
Adam Bierman
Adam Bierman works on a state and federally funded
program for pregnant young women in Mercer County. He is also a producer/ host
of shows on Princeton local cable access station (Princeton TV30.) Adam is
married with wife Sandra and Daughter Rachel (7) who attends Stuart Country
Day Adams hopes to continue to get more people
politically involved, jump start a show for young people/produced by young
people on Princeton TV30 and get a Democrat in the White House for 2008!
Alyce Bush
Alyce Bush has been a township resident for 23 years.
She served five years on the Regional Planning Board of Princeton and is
currently a member of the Site Plan Review Advisory Board (SPRAB). She worked
as a volunteer on several local Democratic campaigns. She is a school &
library sales representative for an educational book publisher. She would
like the PCDO to become more pro-active and vocal on local and national
grassroots issues.
Beth Healey
Beth Healey is a Professor of History at Community College
of Philadelphia. The past year she served as Archives Chair.
As a member-at-large of the PCDO, she would be willing to do whatever is
necessary. She can contribute to the newsletter (as long as
partisan positions are acceptable!). Any necessary field work for the '08
elections is another possibility.
Debra Lambo
Debra Lambo has served on the PCDO board as past Township
at- large member. She has served as the co-chair of the Identity/Message
ad-hoc Committee and Meeting Logistics Chair. She is a psychotherapist in
private practice in Princeton.
Sue Nemeth
Sue Nemeth is director of development and public relations
specialist at the Center for American Women and Politics at the Eagleton
Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. She is a member of the Board of
Trustees of the Princeton Education Foundation, committeewoman in District One
and active on the PCDO's Local Issues Committee. She looks forward to
continuing her service as an at-large member of the Executive Committee and
addressing issues of concern to the Princeton community.
Borough At-Large
Victoria Airgood
Victoria Airgood is an attorney focusing on commercial
litigation and mediation. She has been active in the PCDO since moving to
Princeton in 2004, beginning with the Kerry Campaign. In addition to the
PCDO, she was actively involved in the Nassau Presbyterian Church subcommittee
on immigration policy reform. She would like to work on the nuts and
bolts of PCDO administration and contribute to the PCDO's efforts on local
community issues.
Jo Butler
Jo Butler is a part-time research associate at Wickenden
Associates. She recently completed two terms as Recording Secretary for
the Friends of the Princeton Public Library. She chaired the auction ('04) and
Benefit ('05) for the Friends. She has been an active parent volunteer at
both Stuart Country Day School and Princeton Day School. She would like to
contribute to the newsletter and the membership drive.
Myrna Bearse
Myrna Bearse worked for nearly two decades at Town Topics,
where she covered Princeton Borough government and politics. She is the author
of the book, “Princeton: Still Making History,” and currently works part-time
as assistant editor of “The Rossmoor News.” She is a volunteer in the English
conversation program at the Princeton Public Library. She would like to see
Princeton’s diversity maintained.
Anne Neumann
Anne Waldron Neumann, a former university teacher, currently
teaches creative writing and writes both fiction and political
commentary. She serves on the Princeton Environmental Commission and its
subcommittee Sustainable Princeton, on the Site Plan Review Amendment Board,
and on two PCDO ad hoc committees. She recently organized a Green Home
and Garden Tour that showcased local businesses and was intended to further not
just environmental sustainability but also social and economic
sustainability. She hopes the PCDO will continue to help elect Democrats
and will also engage directly with community
Paul Sigmund
Paul E. Sigmund, Emeritus Professor of Politics at Princeton
University, has been involved in local and county Democratic politics since his
late wife, Barbara, first ran for office in 1972. On a national level, he
has attended three Democratic Party conventions and helped to write the 1968
Democratic presidential platform. More recently he has participated actively in
the PCDO Book Club, both as a speaker and in securing the participation of
other speakers from the university. He is especially interested in US foreign
policy, in particular towards developing countries.
Sheldon Sturges
Sheldon Sturges has lived in Princeton since the late 60's
and has raised 3 children here. He is a publisher and entrepreneur. His company
holds patents which will help people learn on the cell phone. He is a founder
of Princeton Future Inc. and a Past President of the PCDO. He hopes to
work for ways to keep Princeton affordable for all.
