The need for food for many of our neighbors in Mercer County is great. The Yes We CAN! Food Drive Committee is asking for a few more volunteers to work a shift at the Ewing Shoprite on Sunday, June 28th.

The shifts are 12:30-2, 2-3:30.

A volunteer greets shoppers as they enter the store and asks them to pick up some non-perishable food items to donate to the Crisis Ministry Food Pantries in Princeton and in Trenton. Another volunteer stands by the exit, gathers the items in a shopping cart, and thanks the donors as they leave. The previous food drives have been a huge success with many shoppers eager to participate.
