I strongly favor consolidation. Princeton taxpayers deserve our very best effort at tax relief. To achieve maximum savings -- and preserve our services and way of life -- we must fully unite our government, streamline our operations, negotiate a long-term PILOT from Princeton University for essential services, and continue to seek non-tax sources of revenue like grants and gifts. All of these goals are achievable.
We have an opportunity, as Democrats, to take a leadership role in improving government and reducing the financial burden on taxpayers at the local level. I believe we should seize this opportunity and employ a little can-do ingenuity to complete the merger for the greater good of Princeton and our state.
Please join me in voting for a united Princeton!
