About the Health Policy Committee

Given President Bush’s recent focus on healthcare reform, the PCDO Healthcare Committee’s mission will be to: 

• make committee members, Democrats, and citizens more aware of issues and challenges in healthcare policy
• identify, outline, and track healthcare initiatives and legislation that could lead to both state and national reform
• develop and carry out an action plan to lobby state and national lawmakers to make healthcare reform a reality
